8pm Adam Adhiyatma - guitar
9pm Odeya Nini - Vougheauxyice (Voice)

Compositions and improvisations for solo voice, investigating extended vocal techniques integrated with movement and field recordings. Vougheauxyice (Voice) explores the arc from silence to noise and from tender texture to the grandeur of melody.
Odeya Nini is a Los Angeles based experimental vocalist and contemporary composer.
She has collaborated extensively with dancers, animators, film makers and theater directors, including Meredith Monk and Butch Morris. Her work has been presented at numerous venues including REDCAT, the EMPAC center, the Hammer Museum, Joyce Soho, Art Basel Miami, and from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv to Odessa and Mongolia. Odeya holds a BFA from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where she studied with Theo Bleckmann and Gerry Hemingway, and an MFA in composition from California Institute of the Arts.
Her debut album Vougheauxyice was released on pfMENTUM records in April 2014.

Adam Adhiyatma is dedicated tothe discipline of musical improvisation as a form of procedural music, sound meditation, healing, social corrective or catharsis – when it admits to verbal description.
He is a guitarist, composer and improviser from Singapore exploring the formal and mystical boundaries of sound. Mystical: phenomenological or experiential rather than supernatural. Some of his favorite music combines clarity and detachment with hallucinatory intensity. He also ponders upon the concept of voices; multiple voices issuing from the same body, hydras, and the ensuing confusion, and the ensuing ecstasy.
