Kaiborg is the ongoing duo project of two well known SoCal improvisers. Jeff Kaiser takes his trumpet to other worlds through a variety of electronic enhancements. And there he meets David Borgo, adept saxophonist and faculty member at UCSD. Together they shape sound waves in delightful and disturbing ways. A rare NorCal appearance.

Music for Hard Times is the far reaching duo of imported New Zelander Paul Winstanley who extends his electric bass to reach the far reaches of Tom Nunn’s invented instruments. They have been making our hard times a little easier with their sonic salves.

Cost: $10-20 slide but no one turned away
