Alan Ishii is a pianist, singer, composer, producer, arranger and Los Angeles native and local. Having recently graduated summa cum laude from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor's of Music in Commercial Music Technology, Alan's body of work runs the gamut from solo piano Jazz shows to Classical compositions, to electronic dance music to avant-garde vocal pieces, and gladly towards which ever musical horizons call. In November 2013, Alan's work was featured in Zodiac: Across The Universe, a ten-city tour across China by the famed and internationally acclaimed piano-violin-clarinet chamber ensemble, The Zodiac Trio. Whatever the medium or genre being explored, a fascination with Jazz improvisation and a deeply rooted foundation in Austro-Germanic post-Romantic harmony consistently ground Alan's musical adventures.
