An intimate evening with the
Del Sol String Quartet as they explore the interface between new music and visual arts. This evening will feature Ben Johnston’s microtonal Americana String Quartet No. 10 paired with works by Jan Wurm (www.janwurm.com), a California artist whose paintings, drawings and artist books examine daily life and close encounters to reveal aspects of contemporary culture that inform our relationships. In addition to performances by the Quartet, the evening will also include discussion with the audience, musicians and Ms. Wurm in an informal setting followed by a post-concert reception.
