Jacob Rosenzweig is a bassist/composer/improviser based in Los Angeles. He performs in numerous rock, jazz, folk, chamber, experimental, and improvised musical capacities. His own music is often hypnotic and humorously surreal.
Born in NY, NY and raised in Salt Lake City UT, Jacob took up music at age 13, playing punk rock, jazz, and classical music throughout high school and college. After gradutaing from the University of Utah in 2009, he attended the California Institute of the Arts, studying with such musical luminaries as Wadada Leo Smith, Charlie Haden, and Vinny Golia.
Since that time he has become an active member of the Los Angeles music scene, performing and presenting at REDCAT, Human Resources, the Hammer Museum, Machine Project, Beta Level, the Wulf, Handbag Factory, and the Earmeal Webcast; additionally embarking on various tours of California and the west coast.
The Wellness Association of Los Angeles - a new underground music label based in LA - recently released Music for Bass Quartet, a series of compositions for four upright basses. The Jake Rosenzweig Bass Quartet, assembled to play these pieces, has been giving a steady stream of well-received performances since June 2015. Other ongoing projects include the bands Stupid Man Suit and Three Thirds.
As a solo performer Jacob has developed a unique playing style and repetoire for upright bass, favoring the idiosyncratic and little known sounds of his instrument. A new album of solo bass music is currently in the works, to be completed in March 2016.

Existing somewhere on the periphery of Los Angeles’ harsh noise and new music scenes, Garrett Hickman’s trumpet music blends the techniques of the contemporary trumpet with the priorities of sound design to create improvised sound environments that stroke the ears and thoughts of his listeners.
Projects include: Ted Byrnes & Garrett Hickman, Patrice Leslie, and Dh-rmandgreg. In January 2016, Garrett released the record honeymoon in collaboration with Ted Byrnes.
He is also the founder of the record label Wellness Association of Los Angeles which is quickly emerging as a central hub for Los Angeles musicians working in a variety of new, desperate, and hybridized traditions.

Nava Dunkelman is a Bay Area based percussionist and improviser. Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in a multi-cultural environment by an American father and Indonesian mother, Nava’s musical interests span the globe from Japanese taiko to Indonesian gamelan to American marching band, and from classical to contemporary to the avant-garde. Nava studied percussion under Eugene Novotney at Humboldt State University before attending Mills College, where she studied with William Winant, Fred Frith, Maggi Payne, Zeena Parkins, and David Bernstein. Since graduating with a degree in music performance in 2013, Nava has performed and collaborated with John Zorn, Fred Frith, Chris Brown, Dominique Leone and many others. Nava has performed classical and contemporary pieces with the William Winant Percussion Group, inkBoat, among others, as well as formed the improvisational trio Dapplegray with Jeanie-Aprille Tang and Tara Sreekrishnan, which debuted in 2012 at The Stone in New York City. Through improvisation, Nava enjoys discovering her own musical language by exploring experimental approaches to communication, progression, and space.

Jordan Glenn spent his formative years in Oregon drawing cartoons, taking dance classes from his aunt, and putting on plays with his sisters. As he got older he began making movies with his friends and studying jazz, classical, and rock music. In 2003 Glenn received a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon. In 2006 he relocated to the Bay Area, received a masters degree from Mills College and since has worked closely with Fred Frith, William Winant, Zeena Parkins, Roscoe Mitchell, ROVA Sax Quartet, Ben Goldberg, Todd Sickafoose, John Schott, Dominique Leone, Aaron Novik, Darren Johnston, Aram Shelton, Cory Wright, Lisa Mezzacappa, Karl Evangelista, Michael Coleman, Matthew Welch and the bands Jack O' The Clock, Arts & Sciences, 20 Minute Loop, Beep!, tUnE-yArDs, and the Oakland Active Orchestra.
