California-based band Grex returns to Berkeley’s Starry Plough for a special night of music. The band has been called “completely original” (Eugene Weekly) and “true genre warping music” (KFJC). Grex’s fun, endlessly surprising sound draws from the psychedelic music of Jimi Hendrix, Pixies-esque alternative rock, and the the wild outer reaches of modern jazz. For this special evening of music, Grex will be joined by local postrock improvisers 3 Leafs and the industrial weirdness of Dire Wolves.
