Los Conocen is a new group comprising Nava Dunkelman (percussion), Karl Evangelista (guitar), Jordan Glenn (drums), and Bruce Ackley (reeds). We have not heard them perform together, but we love their other projects Dunkelpek (Dunkelman), Grex (Evangelista), the Fred Frith Trio (Glenn) and ROVA (Ackley). You won't want to miss this one.

Opening the show we will have a solo violin performance by gabby fluke-mogul, a violinist, improviser, composer, & educator living in Oakland, CA. gabby explores the depths, infinite sounds, hues, & multitudinous voices of the acoustic violin. gabby holds a BA from Hampshire College in Improvised Music and Critical Studies of Childhood, Youth, and Learning and a MFA in Music Performance and Literature with Improvisation Specialization from Mills College.
