Mitch Marcus Quintet
The Mitch Marcus Quintet is a hard-hittin', swingin', dynamic and adventurous group with original compositions that will continually surprise and entice listeners. Harmonic paths cross and turn, return and go underground with Mingus-esque arrangements. Their sound is mature, even virtuosic, with a well-developed sense of humor. This show, which the band will record for a later release, will feature new pieces and acknowledge their predecessors with a few re-workings and original arrangements of classic tunes.
