Sa Bok Gwai is a Chinese American band that pushes the envelope of musical, social, and political extremes. Sa Bok Gwai shows a new face of Chinese American music and is not for the timid or easily offended.
Frontman Alex Yeung is a long time San Franciscan musician who has worked in both the local rock and experimental music scenes. Alex serves as songwriter and plays lead guitar. Drummer Andre Custodio has been an integral part of the Bay Area
experimental music scene for over 10 years and is also part of the Tri-Cornered Tent Show.
Sa Bok Gwai will be doing a preview performance in San Francisco at the Cherry Bar located at 917 Folsom Street on October 15, 2003.
Sa Bok Gwai is currently working on their self titled debut CD due 2004.
