Make Up a duo which Also Play Under the names 'TwelvesTongue' And 'ForgetThingsWith'. This performance will include both fully composed pieces and organized improvisations. Each piece is derived from it’s own set of specific principles, partially
with the goal of making every piece unique in both concept and character. Sometimes this music is fast and intricate, other times it is expansive allowing the complete decay of sounds. It is heavily rehearsed yet spontaneous acoustic music. This music is of the world, a result of, and as, interaction in it. Nuclear bombs, flowers, weather patterns, cracks, lies, enzymes, etc. all participate equally to the development of this music. TwelvesTongue refers to the 12 families of languages spoken by the people who lived in and around the san francisco bay area for thousands of years before the arrival of europeans. - thollem oct. 7, 04
