Phyll Smith started recording and performing as Dark Muse in 2000, exploring sound and music production by combining string & percussion instruments, contact-microphoned found objects and her voice with looping technology and various electronic effects. She describes her improvised dark ambient sounds as "Haunting Ethereal Alchemy".

Andre Custodio incorporates unique instruments (such as Tom Nunn’s T-Rodimba: A three-row, eight-tone sound board), synthesizers, hand percussion and digital effects into ark and droning sound sculptures that evolve slowly over time - electroacoustic music invoking meditative spaces, with occasional excursions into the realm of noise.
