Ike Levin, originally from Chicago is now a contributor to the improvised music scene in his new home town of San Francisco. Ike performs on tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, and percussion instruments.

Emily Hay is a flutist, vocalist and pianist who extends the traditional pre-conceived capabilities of her instruments. Her approach to music incorporates the complexities of contemporary classical technique with the spontaneity of free improvisation resulting in startling interpretations of sound and intense ensemble interaction. As a performer of the flute, alto flute, piccolo and ethnic reeds, she emits unusual tone colors and soaring rhythmic structures augmented by electronic manipulation. Her vocalizations range from primal to operatic, including whimsical word play and lyrics from the stream of consciousness.
Moe! Staiano
is a percussionist who usually uses found objects, but has moved to doing drumming on found objects on his trap set (i.e. prepared percussion). Moe, who goes by the name spelling of Moe!, has experimented through the years though solo percussion using pipes, food pans, pressure caps, sheet metals, nick-nacks & other stuff that has been found, given or stolen (some from Pizza Hut when he worked there including a nifty Spatula that he bows). One can expect to see Moe!’s show as a visual eye pleaser: running around throwing pipes on concrete, walking on pans with his feet to mute sounds or running amok in any given performance.
Bob Marsh
is a well seasoned improviser whose work has involved shaping sounds words images ideas. Originally from Detroit, Marsh arrived in the Bay Area in 2000 after ten years in Chicago where he played with most of the avant improvisers in that rich and varied scene. Since his arrival on the west coast, multi-instrumentalist and composer Marsh has been busy with several projects. He currently leads or directs String Theory, a string ensemble focusing on textures and microtonics; the Che Guevarra Memorial Marching (and Stationary) Accordion Band, structured and free improv for six to fifteen accordions; Robot Martians, electronics and processed voice; the Out of the Blue Chamber Ensemble, a mixture of reeds and strings, etc...
