True Collapse is a group exploration of improvisational music ideas, emphasizing the collaborative creation of both tonal and completely denatured sonic space. This ensemble represents a union of East Coast free jazz sensibilities, Bay Area experimentalism, and multinational improvisation forms (Masayuki Takayanagi/Kaoru Abe from Japan, the Spontaneous Music Ensemble and AMM from England, and the Blue Notes from South Africa).
