Hotplate is a new concept from SFJAZZ that features a different Bay Area artist each month, interpreting the music of their favorite jazz legend. Vinnie Esparza, voted “Best Local DJ” by the Guardian, will be spinning from 8:00pm and between sets, also in tribute to the jazz legend of the night. Plus, people can enter to win valuable SFJAZZ merchandise, including hoodies, t-shirts, CDs and tickets.
