Trumpet Trumpet Synthesizer is touring the west coast to promote and support their debut album out on NYC's Prom Night Records. They will be performing a brand new composition at LoBot Gallery along with Horaflora, Magic Whistle and Bob Ladue Band.
Trumpet Trumpet Synthesizer is a Brooklyn based duo featuring Brad Henkel on trumpet and Weston Minissali on synthesizer. Their music is birthed out of and is a driving force in the contemporary Brooklyn experimental music scene. TTS either embellishes upon standard notation or develops a graphic notation system to specifically capture the unique voice of each composition they play. Compositions are usually a fine-tuned amalgamation of structure and improvisation imposed onto one and other. Their self-titled album was released on Prom Night Records in March 2012. Last Nights Records calls it "music for those who like to think in the post-noise, post-minimalist, post-new music kinda world. You know, the one where digital freedom allows for vast histories & futures to unfold before our eyes."
