Buyer
The duo formerly known as Lou Reed arrest all the usual suspects: drum, guitar, song and synth to spark a full on mindjail riot. Hauling ass for the treeline there's no turning back now. Bequeath your boredom to that pile of clothes still alseep in your bunk because what you're about to see, hear and do will shock and awe your inner cop. Deep in the wood, Xay Cole, Nathan Rodriguez are in your ear now, spiderlike split seconds ahead of time iteself.

LUCY
Sound and Drawing as a venture through time and space perceptible through resonance and reflection in the immediate present. Pine Cone Power! How far can you throw it? A bird nest made of trash and string, tracing a line continuously folding back in on itself. These are the kinds of sounds/drawings that can be heard/viewed in the projected and amplified sound-drawing practice of Theresa Currie (project name LUCY). She aligns drawing practice with circuitry using piezo microphones, drawing boards, silverpoint stylus, handmade and vintage analog synths. Very loud. loud.

Mission Hypnotic
Mostly non-musical in nature, expect layered and manipulated field recordings and randomly triggered sounds that speak right past your forebrain to soak well into the stem. L.J. ALTVATER played drums with Columbus, Ohio rock band The Highly Evolved Cosmic Beings back in the 80s. He moved to SF in 1989 and today he creates visual art and experimental sound recordings under the name Mission Hypnotic. He produces still more music of an electronic bent under the name Green & Submarine. He serves as recording engineer, co-writer and producer of the collaborative effort Project Tierra.
