In a coproduction with The Lab and Audium, the SF Electronic Music Festival presents four nights of live electronic performances featuring a diverse cadre of internationally renowned and emerging creators. The work ranges from explorations of brainwaves, intricate piano etudes with an electronic twist, and late-night SF-inspired musique concrète to enhanced human bodies as extended instruments.

The SFEMF concludes on Sunday, September 22nd, with LA-based Dustin Wong's uncontrolled live looping, where the audience experiences the magic of accidents that work together for a benevolent chaos. Peruvian-American and Oakland-based Briana Marela follows with her experimental pop music combining voice, embodied gestural controllers, and enhanced objects to create compelling music theater experiences. The festival closes with Eddie Ruscha sounding the unpredictable nature of life through his unique genre of improvised sound design.

The Lab Performances (Friday-Sunday) $20 per night; $45 festival pass;
