Lx Rudis
electronics
Live, Lx uses a CD-based DJ system augmented with theremin-like digital processors and synthesizers. In studio he prefers using analogue synthesizers but does most of his work with software. For source material, he uses a combination of his own studio work, field recordings, 'fair use' samples and recordings of colleagues. The music he creates is kinetic, complex, curiously tonal and quite dramatic, often utilizing spoken word recordings edited to provide narrative and focus.
