KELLARI TRIO (Cellar Trio) was born in Teppo Hauta-aho's cellar. Long time Finnish musical partners Teppo Hauta-aho, Heikki "Mike" Koskinen invited Mikko Innanen to this session - in the cellar - and the music clicked immediately. Besides a few written melodies, the tunes were created spontaneously with just a few outlines and instrument choices. This recording captures the freshness born out of discovering new musical avenues and responding to ideas through intense LISTENING. A couple of Heikki's tunes utilize overdubs - recorded immediately.
