The four pieces on this CD (each about 13 minutes long), based on graphic scores by Sun Yizhou, were produced through online exchanges between the two musicians in June-July 2022 and mixing by Sun. While there are scores at its foundation, the music has strong improvisational elements. Sun used electronics; Corcoran used percussive objects. The various sounds produced by the two musicians run in parallel while interweaving and going through several transformations. The layering of multiple sounds is exquisite, and the finished works are extremely rewarding. Edition of 200 CDs.
