I met Bryan Day on the internet in the late 1990s. He was living in Omaha, Nebraska at the time and I had invited him to perform at the Big Sur Experimental Music Festival that I was curating, but it didn't work out.

In the 2000s Bryan moved to San Francisco and released four albums of mine on his Public Eyesore label (Rags and Stones, The Che Guevara Memorial Marching (And Stationary) Accordion Band, A Barren Place of Overwelming Simplicity, and My Benign Swords). www.publiceyesore.com

In 2022, I shared the same bill with his Euphotic Trio at Lugagge Store Gallery Music series, and after the show I suggested we should do a duo.

In November 2023, we got together and finally played and recorded at Bryan’s home studio in San Pablo, California... and here is what we conjured up.
