The Oakland Box Theater (formerly THE BLACK BOX) is a community art gallery and performance cafe located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue in a beautiful historic building in down town Oakland. It exists to support and promote the fierce creativity that is alive and thriving in Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Black Box is dedicated to the spirit of experimentation, multicultural collaboration and community building through the celebration of life art and cosmos.
