Peter Whitehead is a British born composer, songwriter, performer and instrument builder. As well as being a solo performer and recording artist, Peter frequently collaborates with other musicians and performers on a variety of both live and recorded projects. His compositions and songs have appeared in numerous film and television productions both in the US and worldwide. He also performs frequently on stage with dance companies as an integrated member of the company. In the dance world he has made music for Mikhail Baryshnikov, Susan Marshall, Charles Moulton, Ann Halprin, and Sarah Shelton Mann. His film credits include “City of Ghosts” directed by Matt Dillon and “Following Sean” by Ralph Arlyck. He was a founding member of Mobius Operandi, Closer to Carbon, and the Conspiracy of Beards.
