Kattt Atchley
voice n electronics n metal percussion n dolls
Kattt Atchley is a vocalist, composer/improviser, doll player and visual artist. Her music centers around voice, melodic scales and multiple tunings, and is deeply influenced by ongoing studies in Northern Indian classical music. She loves getting lost in the sound of her voice and the melodies created by blending clear tones with amplification, metal percussion, feedback, and pure electronic waves. She plays solo or with others, including a longtime collaboration with her husband, Kenneth Atchley. She is a member of the Vasundhara Choir, Hindustani classical music, under the direction of her teacher, vocalist/composer, Rita Sahai. Her dolls and drawings have been featured in videos by Brian Reinbolt - Bejar Sibosop on YouTube - and on Phil Perkins' CD "Undanceable" (Artifact Records). Kattt is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc. and the International Guild of Knot Tyers.

She regularly posts music, drawings, dolls, photos and whims at: https://ka3tvim.com/ and https://www.instagram.com/katttatchley/
